Kinross Forest – Orange
The most common meeting point at the forest is at a clearing just inside the forest as you enter on Bulgas Road (marked as a car icon on the map below). To get to the forest:
- Follow Ophir Rd from town (North Eastern side from Dalton or March Streets).
- Turn right onto Bulgas Rd (if you go past the tip you have gone too far)
- Follow Bulgas Rd to the forest. Bulgas Road is gravel most of the way, it crosses a a bridge/causeway of Summer Hill Creek below Suma Park Dam
Another entrance is off Banjo Paterson Way/Lower Lewis Ponds Road. This can be useful if the Bulgas Rd causeway is covered with water.

Bald Hill Reserve – Geurie
Bald Hill is 95% singletrack, a challenging 9+ km race circuit on the westerrn side and approx 8 km of interlinked singletrack and firetrails on the eastern side. The tracks are part of Geurie Bald Hill Reserve, a Council managed bushland Reserve which has adopted mountain biking as an integral part of its Plan of Management. Club members and Council work very closely together in this Reserve maintaining it, keeping the weeds down and ensuring that trails are safe to ride, walk or jog on. These shared use trails are well signposted and offer a surprisingly challenging course in the flat Central West. There are also enough technical challenges in here to keep most riders on their toes.

Mugga Hill – Dubbo
A new trail system (as of early 2012) has been developed at Mugga Hill on Dubbos eastern fringe which will offer local riders a training venue closer to town, a possible race venue and a really great place to introduce people to the sport. The trails are 4.5 km long and will offer an easy shorter option. The trails run straight past an existing pump track and the tight trails have been designed to deliver a range of challenges to most riders, and to make the trails unattractive to Moto riders.
These trails have been developed with help from Council, nearby residents and of course the local MTB community and are designed as a shared use trail with pedestrians using it in either direction and riders using it counter clockwise.
Signage and furniture is coming shortly, but the trails are there to be ridden now.

Beni Forest – Dubbo
Beni Forest is a 2,000+ ha area of remnant bushland on the edge of Dubbo. It was previously logged but is now managed by NSW NPWS and the service are keen to see visitation to this Park increase. They have given whole hearted support for the concept of a MTB event in the Forest, utilising the roads, tracks and trails within the Forest.
